On 12 February 2025, USAID issued a Stop-Work Order that immediately suspended funding for a critical five-year programme. Overnight, 40% of our 2025 budget disappeared, disrupting vital services that keep children safe and families together. We must raise £120,000 to keep these programmes running. Thanks to your generosity, we’ve raised £88,000 so far, just £32,000 to go. Every gift, of any size, makes a direct difference today

Poverty should never be the reason a family is torn apart. At Grateful, we don’t just provide a bed; we work to strengthen families and provide the support needed to keep children in a loving home environment whenever possible
Most children we serve have families who love them but lack the food, medicine, and school fees to keep them safe. Grateful steps into that gap, providing the "village" these children need to thrive while maintaining the bonds that matter most.

From the Streets to a Safe Home
Many of our children came from difficult beginnings- some lost their parents, others were abandoned or left without care. At Grateful Children's Orphanage, they have found a place to belong, feel safe, and be loved every day.
More Than Care - We Are Family
At Grateful Children's Orphanage, we are not just caregivers - we are a family. Every child is treated with love, dignity, and attention. We celebrate birthdays, share meals together, and support one another through every step of life.
Our Poultry Farm Business
We currently raise over 2,000 chickens as part of our growing poultry business, and we are working towards expanding to 5,000 birds. This project is focused on producing and selling chickens to generate income, with plans to begin egg production and sales very soon.
